Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using EvalsEvolved ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users including members, supervisors, and administrators. EvalsEvolved is available on iOS (Apple App Store), Android (Google Play Store), and web. Additional terms from Apple or Google may also apply depending on your platform.

EvalsEvolved is a professional performance tracking and evaluation preparation tool designed for enlisted service members (E4–E9) and their supervisors across the U.S. military. The App serves the Coast Guard, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force. It allows users to log work activities, generate branch-specific evaluation comments, track career events and qualifications, manage professional goals, share performance data with authorized supervisors, and send peer recognition. The service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, or any military branch.

To use EvalsEvolved you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or 13 with verifiable parental consent).
• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be barred from using the App under applicable law.
• Provide accurate and truthful registration information.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your profile.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One person may not maintain multiple active accounts.
• You may not transfer your account to another person.

You agree NOT to:

• Log classified, top secret, or operationally sensitive information.
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated work entries.
• Use the App to harass, defame, threaten, or harm other users.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, decompile, or exploit the application.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of military regulations.
• Share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or crawlers to interact with the service.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App or its servers.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the App.

EvalsEvolved provides an AI-powered OPSEC screening tool as a courtesy — it is not a substitute for your own judgment and applicable regulations. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any information you log complies with operational security requirements, your command's policies, and applicable laws. Do not log specific patrol times, coordinates, future mission details, personnel numbers in operational contexts, or any classified information.

Evaluation comments generated by EvalsEvolved AI are based solely on your logged data and are provided as a starting point for your evaluation documentation. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it in any official capacity. EvalsEvolved makes no warranty that generated comments will be accepted by your command or meet all applicable evaluation standards. The AI does not fabricate — all output is derived from your own log entries.

When a member links their account to a supervisor, they consent to sharing their work log data with that supervisor within the App. Supervisors agree to use shared member data only for legitimate performance documentation purposes and in accordance with applicable military regulations and command policies. Supervisors must not share member data outside the App without the member's consent.

EvalsEvolved may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and/or Google AdMob. Advertisements are clearly distinguished from App content. By using the App, you consent to the display of such advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

EvalsEvolved and its original content, features, interface design, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the work log data, goals, and career information you enter. By using EvalsEvolved, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service to you.

You may delete your account and all associated data immediately, at any time:

1. Go to Settings (gear icon in sidebar or top menu)
2. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
3. Read the warning and confirm deletion
4. Your entire account and data are permanently deleted

Upon deletion, all your logs, goals, career events, qualifications, evaluation comments, and personal data will be immediately and permanently removed from our systems. This action is irreversible and cannot be undone. We cannot recover deleted data under any circumstances.

EvalsEvolved is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected. This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, or any military branch. Evaluation forms and performance standards vary by branch, and EvalsEvolved is designed to support all six service branches with branch-specific evaluation generation. Nothing in this App constitutes official military guidance, legal advice, or career counseling.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EvalsEvolved and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to data loss, career impacts, reliance on AI-generated evaluation content, or unauthorized access to your account or data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time (see Section 11). Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive termination.

If you download EvalsEvolved from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms are between you and EvalsEvolved only — not Apple or Google.
• Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• Apple and Google are not responsible for any claims related to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims.
• In the event of a third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, Apple and Google are not responsible for the investigation, defense, or settlement of such claims.
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in English, except where prohibited by applicable law. You waive your right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of EvalsEvolved after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and may request account deletion.
